As an author, I’m thrilled to share my stories with you and Evernight helps make my books shine! Here’s one reason why I love Evernight Publishing:

Hello! I'm Bethany-Kris, a nearly twenty-four year old Canadian author, lover of much, and mother of two young sons. I enjoy just about anything that's bad for me, work far too much, and write whenever I get the time.
As a new author just making my move into the world of publishing, having a great publisher like Evernight as a supporter in my corner is invaluable. They've taken the time to set up safe/comfortable places for their authors to share opinions, offer help, or just take time to chat about anything they need to when it comes to their writing and promoting. This alone has my transition into their company easier than what it would have been should I have gone through a different publisher.
Not only do they make a massive effort to connect their authors in as many ways as possible, but they take the time to connect their readers and authors as well. They give authors and readers alike the chance to communicate, to find out what our readers are wanting/needing/liking to see. And, this gives readers the opportunity to get to know all of the authors behind the words/characters/stories they've been enjoying so very much, beyond just links to blogs, websites, or Twitters.
My debut novella, A Mile High, was recently released by Evernight Publishing. With it being my first, I had many reservations and concerns about taking this step in my life. They've made it a comfortable one for me, one I don't regret.
Blurb: Olivia wants a vacation, that’s all, but when the airline screws up her plans for a getaway to the beautiful Barbados, instead putting her on a new path that intertwines with the handsome, funny, and charming Sal, she can’t say no to his offer of joining the mile high club. Their meeting is explosive, attraction intense, and when the flight ends, Olivia is unwilling to part ways but unable to voice her wants. Still, fate is at work with its own plan, and where it finishes just might not be where it ends up.
There’s nothing quite like sex at a mile high.

Trains, because I get to see the countryside.

  2. Anonymous Says:

I like the mystique of trains!

  3. Yes, I think quite a few stories of strangers on a train could be told for sure. ;)

  4. Jean MP Says:

Well air travel has become so frustrating, I have always wanted to travel by train, it seems so much more interesting.

  5. Especially if you're travelling with children, or crossing countries, yes, it can get frustrating, I agree. Trains take longer, but the sights are pretty ah-maz-ing.

  6. Pam Says:

We usually travel by plane, but I like going by car...then you can be on your own schedule.

driving. i love going the scenic routes everywhere! Happy Birthday Evernight!

  8. True that...we once drove a three day trip that would have only taken a half a day to fly. So worth it.

  9. My kiddos certainly like that part of driving.

plane because you get there faster

  11. Hi Bethany, if I've ever had such adventures on a plane, I would probably take it more. ;) I actually do enjoy planes, but I travel by car most of the time and love the chance to get to see things up close. I'd love to repeat the one train ride I took because that was a lot of fun.

Thanks for being part of the hop and sharing with us!

It depends on where I'm going. But I like traveling with someone else driving because then I can just sit back and enjoy the ride. Plus driving always makes me tired so I could sleep in the back seat!
Thanks for being part of the hop and happy birthday Evernight

I like good old fashioned cars. I hate flying but have done it quite a bit. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Birthday Evernight!

  14. Depending on how long the trip is, a plane is probably the best way to go. Agreed.

  15. Thank you, and thanks for your comment. Personally, I like to drive as well, but I can't be the one driving.

  16. Me, too! And also, I have panic attacks when driving, so it's a no-go for me. Thanks for your comment. :)

  17. I don't mind flying, I just prefer not to be in a giant tin can twenty-thousand feet high...LOL.

  18. Chynarey Says:

I like to travel by car, bus or train... Because I love to see the sights in each state I travel thru....

  21. Audrey Says:

Favorite mode of travel is by train... people often forget that travel is not all about the destination - in a train the journey is an adventure in and of itself. Dining cars with table service and edible food, club cars - with full bars, and sometimes casinos, sleeping cars with huge picture windows, private bathrooms and showers. And a fatality rate well below both airplanes and cars put together.
Plus, train tracks are generally located well away from roads and commercial areas - so the scenery is 100x better than what you see traveling on an interstate.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  22. It can be scary if you think about it too much.

  23. Thanks for your fantastic comment. You're very right, it's about the climb of the trip, not the ending result.
