Carlene Love Flores Stops By To Talk Her Latest Release - Wicked Flower @Cloveflores
Hello out there!!!
Bethany-Kris rocks my socks. Just so we’re clear on that up front. I feel very lucky to be back, visiting this lovely lady’s web home and with all of you. I also wanted to send out a big Congrats to my hostess on the release of Spray Paint Kisses. Very cool.
The book I’ve brought today is the fifth story in my rock star romance series, The Sin Pointe Novels. Wicked Flower is all about the band’s lead singing bass player, Stefan Calderon. To celebrate its release as well as the series as a whole, I got the idea to share some of my favorite Stefan Moments over the years at each blog tour stop. Today’s comes from Book 2, Sin’s Flower. I found this scene especially touching because Lily, the heroine, is actually a huge Stefan fan, even though this is hers and Jaxon’s story. It was fun seeing her morph from the infatuation of one band member to something real with another. I have to say I can’t blame Lily. Stefan is just one of those crush-worthy guys and this scene shows not just that, but how all the men in the Sin Pointe family can leave a lasting impression on a girl. From Sin’s Flower…
Gosh, how embarrassing, but she realized then that with all the magazine photos she’d hoarded and the concert t-shirts she cherished, her focus had always been on Stefan. The most accurate description she could give of Jaxon James was that he had dark blond hair that was very short on the sides with long bangs on top that reminded her of Elvis’ pompadour. Oh, and some infamous neck tattoo he blew off when asked about in interviews. That was it. That was all she had on the man. Well, that and he wrote some disturbingly good songs. But since it was Stefan’s voice who sang them, that’s who she had always been most attracted to. There was that humming sensation again making her dizzy and unexpectedly hot.
She clicked through the list of forbidden boys. Absolutely no solo rides with Stefan Calderon. As if Lily would be able to breathe in a car with him. He was all about the “P” word according to Lucky. The other no-no for absolute alone time was Mr. James. They were just gonna have to fudge on that one a wee bit. She had time to deal with that anyhow, since sweet Benny appeared to be detouring her through the dusty green hills, down a winding road to the ocean. The houses here were amazing. Everyone must be beautiful. Lily could see how Tris had fit in when she’d lived here.
And here is the Wicked Flower blurb:
Sin Pointe front man Stefan Calderon is playing a very dangerous game and his mom’s live-in caretaker, Dani Foster, just landed right smack in the middle of it.
Practically strangers when Stefan rolls into his small hometown looking to patch things up with Mom, his and Dani’s worlds collide with a hot and intense hook up. He knows right away this woman will make the perfect partner for his two weeks in town. But when she realizes whose son he is, and what he’s there to do, sexy times come to an abrupt halt.
That is until they come up with a solution. Rules. Every game needs them. The question isn’t if they’ll break them, but when and how hard.
It’s a wickedly delicious game, one neither of them intends to lose.
Thanks for letting me share with you today. If you’d like to spend more time with Stefan in his own book, you can find Wicked Flower at these lovely places:

Carlene Love Flores is a big fan of the stars (especially Orion), honest music (especially Depeche Mode), and her traveling family (no favorites there-she loves them all). These things inspire her intimate style of romance writing. She feels honored to be a member of Washington DC Romance Writers (WRWDC), Romance Writers of America and the Waterworld Mermaids. Carlene currently lives in the San Diego area where she can often be found listening to live music and looking up at the sky on clear nights. If she could touch someone’s heart with her writing the way others have done for her, she’d say truly there never lived a luckier girl.
